Bzz Agent - Schick Hydro Silk Razor

First, let me explain what Bzz Agent is. It's a great online program that provides either free or discounted products to consumers like me (and you, if you're interested in signing up for free) in exchange for providing feedback (or "Bzz"). All you have to do is complete some very easy, short surveys to potentially qualify for product campaigns. Depending on how active you are with your Bzz (such as writing reviews, posting blogs, sharing pictures, discussing the product with friends, etc), your Bzz Score goes up or down. The higher the score, the more likely you are to receive campaigns! It's very simple and very fun. I've had the opportunity to try products from brands like Kellogg's, Claritin, Glade, Burt's Bees and more, all for free! I highly recommend signing up.

Which leads me to my latest campaign - the Schick Hydro Silk Razor for women. I received this product for free as a Bzz Agent, and I would like to share my honest opinion with my readers. I typically prefer using disposable razors for men because I can usually get a closer shave that lasts longer. However, this razor absolutely proved me wrong! I got just as close of a shave, but with the added bonus of soft, silky legs thanks to the "Water-Activated Moisturizing Serum" built into the razor, above and below the blades. Thanks to this feature, you don't even need to use shaving cream, which helps me save time AND money! Who doesn't love that? I highly recommend making the switch to Schick!

Movie Cash from Mike's Hard Lemonade

I just received an email from Mike's Hard Lemonade that I was a second place prize winner in their "A Good Day to Die Hard" Instant Win sweepstakes! The prize? Codes for $50 in Movie Cash! I guess my fiance and I will be seeing some movies in the near future. I'm thinking about checking out Oz the Great and Powerful in 3D. I'm definitely excited for this prize, I love movies (I spent 6 years working at a video store). This prize was unexpected - I didn't win anything during the instant win portion of the game but I lucked out with the second round! This just goes to show that those instant win games online can be worth it. I've entered a lot of contests like this without any success and had gotten to the point where I felt it was not worthwhile to continue entering but this recent win has changed my mind. So don't be discouraged - enter, enter, enter when you see contests and eventually you'll win something!

This movie looks amazing but the reviews haven't been the kindest. Getting to see it for free means I won't have to worry about whether I'm wasting my money or not. I can't wait!

L'Oreal Paris Healthy Look Creme Gloss Hair Color

Every day through March 18th, L'Oreal Paris is giving away 10,000 boxes of their Healthy Look Creme Gloss hair color! On my first try, I won, so I'll be receiving a coupon in the mail soon to try it out. If you want to try your luck, here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/lorealparis/app_435626486514541. It's a Facebook app so you will need a Facebook account and you'll need to "like" L'Oreal Paris in order to participate. It's hard to say what the odds of winning are without knowing how many people are participating, but you can try every day through the length of the contest until you win! Biore Pore Stripes and Warming Cleanser

I recently won a Biore Prize Pack from one of my favorite blogs, Justina's Gems (also check out her blog's facebook). She does a lot of great giveaways, frequently in collaboration with my friend Jessica's blog InTruBeauty (and check out her facebook too). I have to say, this prize came in the mail at the perfect time. I gave birth almost three months ago and my hormones have been all over the place for basically the last year of my life. My skin looks worse now than it ever did as a teenager. Adult acne is not something I ever expected to be dealing with! The Biore products I won, the Warming Anti-Blackhead Cleanser and the Deep Cleansing Pore Strips do a wonderful one-two punch to improve my skin. I love the warming cleanser, it feels warm and tingly when you first apply it and it was great little exfoliating beads to truly deep clean your skin. Using the cleanser was a great way to prep my face for the pore strips.
